Highly recommend this place. Sensational variety of pizzas all delicious. And the service was incredible. Graham & his wife make you feel like they're welcoming you into their home. It's got a real welcoming appeal to this place which in turn makes the food even more delicious. Will definitely come back. Thanks so much guys.
The Pizzeria at Tumut is fantastic for all your pizza needs and ice cream for dessert. The pizzeria has a wide range of pizzas to fit everyones needs. The staff are amazing and you can taste the love they put into the pizzas they make, I was also happy to see that all the ingredients were a source locally and from other neighbouring towns. If you are staying in Tumut and craving a pizza, the local Pizzeria is a must try.
As a coeliac it’s usually really hard to find somewhere safe to eat but I decided to give this pizzeria a try and it was incredible!! The customer service was beyond impressive and the food was just as amazing. I felt really safe eating here and had no reaction! The staff went through all of their processes to explain how safe it was for coeliacs which I am grateful for, they even checked with the cooks afterwards that it was made 100% gluten free. Would come back here in a heartbeat!
What a warm welcome to the shop! On top of that, the service was excellent, and the staff showed great understanding of customer needs. They even offered free food to my kids — such a kind gesture! We really appreciated it. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you!
We consider ourselves so lucky to have stumbled across this gem. We reserved a table last minute as we were driving back from the snow & felt like a pizza. We were running late but it wasn’t too much trouble, they gave us a table in a private dining room so the kids had plenty of space. Graham was so attentive, quick to get our order into the kitchen ahead of a large table so we didn’t have to wait. Complimentary breads & wine tasting. The experience was like no other & the staff were all so friendly. The pizza, pasta & gelatos hit the spot, so fresh & full of flavour. Highly recommend the Poppa Gs pizza. The ambience is heart warming & leaves you feeling like you’re part of a community.
I stayed in Tumut overnight and visited the Local Pizzeria! I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and a pepperoni pizza, both dishes were delicious! What truly set this experience apart was the warm, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with genuine smiles, and the owner even brought out fresh, warm bread with olive oil to enjoy while I waited. (Originally, I’d placed an online order for pickup, but after a brief, friendly chat with the owner, I decided to stay and eat in). Great food, great atmosphere… The Local Pizzeria is a gem, and they should be incredibly proud of their business!
